The Purple Promise Foundation once again participated in the 2023 Charlotte Pride Festival in Uptown Charlotte on August 19 and 20. This year there was a record-breaking 260,000 visitors!

It was a very hot and sunny two days and we gave out lots of free sunscreen and sun-safety information. We had so many people express their gratitude to us for providing this service!

A new addition this year was a raffle for a beach tote with sunscreen and more, which created a lot of interest in our booth. It was a fun and exhausting weekend but we were happy to be there to fulfill our mission to continue to bring awareness and education on melanoma!
